The Caribe Hilton Hotel, located in San Juan, Puerto Rico, claims Ramón "Monchito" Marrero created the Piña Colada in 1954 while a bartender at the hotel. The tropical cocktail combines rum, coconut and pineapple creating a refreshing tropical drink blending smooth and creamy — perfect for hot weather.
